Jharkshetra, India, January 28, 2018 — A suicide has killed four people in Jharshetra district in the eastern Indian state of Maharashtra, police officials said Friday.
According to officials, a 22-year-old man and his father, an 80-year old man, were sitting in their vehicle in Jyoti Nagar locality in the town on Wednesday when a car carrying two people jumped the road and hit a wall, killing them.
Police said that the driver, who was in his 60s, had taken a bus on Thursday and the vehicle had arrived in the district by Saturday morning.
A man identified as Dharam Shinde died on the spot, police official Amit Mishra said.
Two others, a man and a woman, were also injured in the accident.
