Amman, Jordan (CNN) The NBA has announced the city is the second biggest NBA city in the United States behind Los Angeles.
The league announced Thursday that Jordan will be the fourth city in Major League Soccer (MLS), joining New York City and Miami.
Jordan is the most populous city in Jordan and the largest Arab-American community in the Middle East.
Jordan has the second-highest number of mosques in the region with over 300, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
