On April 8, 2015, a man who goes by the alias Ashok Kumar Sharma was found dead at his residence in Kolkata.
His body was found on the floor of a room, which was partially covered with a sheet.
Police have said that the man’s death was a result of strangulation.
He was born in 1974 and had been in a relationship with his wife for several years.
Two years ago, he married a woman, who had recently been pregnant.
He told his wife he had a daughter.
The couple had a son, who was born three years ago.
The police have said he had been working in the construction sector.
A month ago, a relative of Sharma’s told The Times of India that he had left his wife in the early hours of April 1, 2014.
Sharma’s body was discovered in a room where he had reportedly been sleeping.
The relative said he found a knife on the night of the death, which he tried to use to cut his wife’s throat.
The two men had been engaged in a consensual relationship for a couple of years, the relative said.
Sharma was born on August 29, 1974, and he worked as a labourer in the city of Bengaluru.
Police officials said they are probing the case.
Last year, a 27-year-old man was killed after he was allegedly raped by a woman who was a neighbour of his.
The woman, identified as Shri Anuj Gupta, was arrested from a private residence on the pretext of raping her boyfriend.
She has reportedly confessed to the crime and confessed to being a drug addict.
The case against her has not yet been registered.
